The presentation of the 2016 national budget to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari has commenced.

The budget presentation ceremony which began in the morning on Tuesday, December 22 has in attendance President Buhari, Vice President Osibanjo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu and the joint sitting of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

All formalities from anthems to prayers have been said, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki has given his opening address and President Buhari has started addressing the joint Parliament.
