Lai Mohammed, the minister of information has accused the past administration of spending N2billion to repair a leaky roof at the National Theatre.
The minister, who did not disclose which administration spent the amount, decried the poor state of the theatre.
According to him, he could not say if the money was actually spent on the project.
Mohammed disclosed this on Saturday, January 9, during a courtesy visit to Prof. Wole Soyinka in his office at the Freedom Park in Lagos.
On his part, Soyinka said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was effectively tackling corruption, exposing the vice at a level no administration has reached before.
