Dr. Theodore Ekechi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has slammed former president Goodluck Jonathan |
Reacting to insinuations that President Buhari’s anti-corruption war was one-sided, Ekechi said: “Those public office holder with unassailable, overwhelming evidence of having soiled their hands while in office are only those being compelled to face the music.”
He added: “President Buhari is engrossed in articulating his economic policies so as to salvage the nation from its socio-economic doldrums inflicted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The APC is an assemblage of seasoned technocrats who are given to result oriented planning of issues and challenges facing the nation.
“It is mischievous and untenable for anybody to say that President Muhammadu Buhari is slow in his administration and he is not doing anything outside the change which the APC canvassed for before his election.”
This comes after President Buhari presented the 2016 budget of N6.08 Trillion to a joint session of the National Assembly yesterday, December 22.
