CAF Awards: How Coaches Voted

The 2015 Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards which held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja saw Gabon and Borrusia Dortmund’s frontman, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang emerge as Africa’s player of the year 2015.

According to CAF, Head Coaches or Technical Directors of the affiliated National Association voted for the two top categories which are; African Player of the Year as well as the African Player of the Year – Based in Africa.

Coach Sunday Oliseh reportedly voted Ghana and Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew as his first choise with the winner of the award Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Dortmund and Gabon coming in at second place.

Surprisingly Oliseh did not vote for Yaya Toure in his top three rather he went for Senegal and Southampton front man Saido Mane.
