Accident Along Tollgate In Ogun State Leaves One Dead

Authorities have confirmed that One person has been killed, following a fatal accident involving two trailers at tollgate Ota along Abeokuta-Lagos expressway.

One person was killed after a crash involving two trailers at the tollgate in Ogun state.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were on ground to help ease off the traffic gridlock that had developed due to the accident.

Men of the FRSC tried to diffuse the traffic congestion.

The true cause of the crash was not immediately determined as the scene in a frenzy while the FRSC and some concerned residents tried to rescue other occupants of the vehicles involved.

There was no exact figure as to the total number of people involved in the crash.

It will be recalled that tragedy also struck on Wednesday, January 6, following a fatal accident which claimed three lives on the popular Lagos/Ibadan expressway.A truck conveying tomatoes and peppers was involved in the crash which took place on the long bridge near Warewa bus stop.
